CUSTOMIZATIONCustomizing Mainsaver Screens with PowerBuilder Are there screens in Mainsaver that you would like to rearrange or redesign? Are there reports that are missing fields or information that you need? While we do offer classes in PowerBuilder both in San Diego and over the Web, we also offer a service whereby we can do customizations for you. With PowerBuilder Desktop, we can change "data windows" or the screens that displays data and information. Any input or edit screen, e.g. new Work Order, PM, or Asset Any table view (the screen you see in every module after clicking on the retrieve button) Standard reports and lists reports located in every module Some examples of what can be done with PowerBuilder Desktop: Rearrange or resize the columns in the table view Make certain records in a table view turn different colors for alerts purposes, e.g. overdue Work Orders Add a field to either the printed work order or the work order new / edit screen Add a “pull down” field to any input screen and have the contents show information contained elsewhere in Mainsaver Add your company's legal boilerplate information or company logo to the printed Purchase Order Mainsaver contains a number of generalized standard reports that are intended to appeal to the most popular needs. If you need a specific report, in addition to the standard reports, you'll need a report writer to create them. InfoMaker and Crystal Reports are both great report writing tools, both with the same capabilities. We offer courses and services using both of these programs since they are popular packages that many of our customers already use in their operations. Mainsaver provides key performance indicators reports as shown below. It allows a drill down reports as compared to matrix reports which is fixed and limited.With drill down management and executive can run through the reports from top to detail swithout developing their queries. |
